My first few years on earth my family would tell you the times I've tried to convince them I was raised by wolves. Young Josh was fascinated by the canine world and everything about them, the way they interacted together and their majestic look amazed me growing up. I knew right away animals and especially dogs were going to be my lifelong passion. When most people turn 16 they save up enough money to buy their first car or go on their first trip, when I turned 16 I saved up to get my Australian Shepherd, Arrow. While raising and training Arrow he gave me the inspiration I needed to want to train other dogs, and with my years of training at an obedience school I wanted to get out and make a place I would be proud to take my own dog.
While in high school, I took every opportunity I could to get out with animals. I took two extended co-op positions to work at a dog facility where I found many great people in the dog world who helped set me up with the knowledge and skills I would need to get into the dog business. While in my 11th grade I started my own online business to be able to work from home and spend more time with my dogs.
Nothing excites me more than getting to meet amazing people and dogs every single day.

Josina Huijer
With a passion and interest in dogs from a young age, it was clear that I would do something with them. I have read through various dog books multiple times and I am always looking to expand my collection of dog encyclopedias. My newest addition to my shelf is by far the largest one I have seen or owned yet, a book that's almost 10lbs and exceeds 1,000 pages! I started working with dogs when I began offering dog walking for local clients, followed by taking on a dog training position at an obedience school after undertaking a mentorship course with them, then doing a few photography events for various clients, some housesitting jobs, and the most recent endeavour is incorporating the grooming aspect into these services.
A recent graduate from Algonquin College, I completed the Business Management and Entrepreneurship diploma program in April of 2022. In this program I have learned important marketing, communication, and general business skills. Paired with this education, I continue to work hands on with various breeds of dogs that are all different sizes, ages, and temperaments in addition to staying up to date on training techniques.
I look forward to meeting and working with you and your dog.
