Frequently Asked
Questions
What is your cancellation policy?
Overnight House Sitting:
-
We ask that you inform us no later than 24 hours before our expected arrival if you need to cancel. For example, if you would like us to arrive at 12:00 pm on a Friday, please let us know by 12:00 pm on the Thursday prior if you need to cancel. If you need to cancel the day of our expected arrival or less than 24 hours, a fee will incur to cover a portion of the loss. The incurred fee is 1/4 (25%) of the total cost of the stay up to a maximum of $150. For example, if you have booked Friday-Sunday for one dog it would cost $210 for the 3 days. If you were to cancel on Friday a cancellation fee of $52.50 would apply. Whereas if you booked a longer stay that was 9 days long for one dog totalling $490, the cancellation fee would be capped at $150 instead of $157.50.

How much does watching my dogs in my home cost?
-
Please take a look at our overnight house sitting page here. If your question remains unresolved feel free to send an email with your inquiry.

What does "per calendar day" mean?
-
Per calendar day pricing is based on the date of the booking rather than the hours spent. For example, if the booking was 12:00 PM January 1st - 10:00 am January 7th that is 7 calendar days regardless of arrival and departure time. This is to ensure those looking after your home and pets have adequate preparation time for the stay as well as afterwards should there be another booking. If you have any further questions please email us for clarification.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated for you to take care of them?
-
Yes, we require a copy of your dog(s)'s latest vaccines (DHLPP and rabies) in order to walk or house sit.

Do you have insurance?
-
Yes, our services are insured.

My dog is intact, can you still care for them?
-
Yes! But please inform us beforehand so that we can take the necessary steps of precaution. If your female dog goes into heat, or is expected to while under our care, please let us know as well.
